What mobility technology has had the greatest impact on today’s society and why?

The mobile technology with the greatest impact on today's society is the ability of a 4G network.  The 4G radio upgrade allows phones to operate much quicker. In some areas swifter than the cable connection in your home. This upgrade will change the status quo globally. This will allow users to stream popular apps outside of a WI-FI connection without having to wait for their content to buffer. 4G will enhance the mobile apps making them more mobile friendly to the user.

Apple and Microsoft appear to be leading the way into the future of 4G. Both already have cloud based systems. This gives the ability for someone to transfer information on the mobile technology and a computer. Additionally, as download speeds reach 100mbs dowloading things from your computer desktop are becoming more of a reality. As companies and hardware continue to improve the world will become instantaneously available at the touch of your fingertips.
